Biography

Keith graduated with an Honors degree in Communications in 2012 from the University of Malta and later pursued a Master’s degree in Film and Media at the University of Copenhagen where he focused his studies on direction and acting techniques.

 

Keith has since directed 4 short films; Him & Her (2015), Ambivalent (2015), for which Keith received an award for best Director at the Malta Short Film Festival 2017, In The Name of Bjorn (2016), mov bak plijz (2017), and For Ava(2017).  Since 2014 Keith has also directed multiple TV commercials and social videos in Malta, London, Venice and India.

 

Keith's latest achievement is in the form of a feature length film titled Uwijja (2022, 104mins), which has garnered a few international awards and a global VOD release on Apple Tv.

 

On every production Keith utilises writing, directing and acting techniques he learnt through his studies to showcase his flare for creativity and absolute love for cinema. His goal as a Maltese film director is to capture the Maltese culture through story and cement Malta’s identity in film.
